April 24, 2088 – GWF HOMEFRONT – GWF ARENA, EARTH’S MOON

Proteus d. Pulsar by pinfall with an Overhead Toss. Wolf was no where to be found this evening. It makes one wonder what’s up with the team of Proteus and Wolf.

Beast-Rider d. Greg The Hammer Valentine by submission proving that he can still hang in singles competition.

Pit Viper d. Omega by pinfall after the VENOM BLAST. Another loss for Omega against an opponent he could have easily taken in his prime.

Reptillo d. The Creeper by pinfall after an astonishing Ani-Man Axehandle.

Battlezone Match
Norse Gods d. Titan Power in an incredible Battle Zone Match. Usually in these types of matches, allies aren’t allowed at ringside, but since it was a Tag-Team affair, partners were allowed to be present. This lead to Lord Nexus getting Billy Jo Boxer DQ’d when he tried to save his partner from being pinned by Lightening. Then Lightening put out Nexus with the NORSE SLEEPER GRIP in the center of the ring, to pick up the win by submission.

Mutant d. Massif by DQ when Massif slammed Mutant outside of the ring on the concrete floor.

The Henchmen d. The Society of Death (Ghengis Kahn & Invincible Krakan) by DQ when Krakan ignores the referee’s warnings about climbing the top rope.

Spike d. Bishop Hell by pinfall after THE SUPER DESTROYER. Spike is quickly moving up the rankings here in the GWF having only two losses. He cracks the top 10 in rankings this month appearing at #9.

The Bomb Squad d. Savage Beauty by pinfall whenCommander Sam planted Renegade with a Sam’s Atomic Drop. I think it’s safe to say that SAVAGE BEAUTY is no longer as Renegade more or less wen tout solo against THE BOMB SQUAD. Not that Vanity wasn’t present, it’s just that Renegade refused to tag in his partner and basically ignored him the entire match. A move that would wind up costing them the match. After the match, an argument between Renegade and Vanity erupted and it ended when Vanity hit his former partner with the PULVERIZER and left him in the center of the ring.

Mesmer d. Thantos by submission via THE BLACKOUT.

Barbed Wire Cosmic Cage Match
Splatter d. Brute by escaping the cage in a bloody match that will not be soon forgotten. By the end when Splatter reached the arena floor, both men were in need of some serious medical attention. Brute was taken from ringside on a stretcher and is reported to be out for about 2 months.

Galaxian Tag Team Championship
The Animal Pack d. Galaxian Royal Court (Challengers) by count out when, once again, Battering Ram piledrove his opponent outside the ring and Killer Queen was unable to make in back in before 10. The Championship comittee has said that they are going to look into the actions of the Ani-Men as it relates to their methods for winning matches.

Galaxian Championship
Star Warrior (Champion) d. Actagon (Challenger) by pinfall after the Nova Launch in what looks to be a long reign for Star Warrior as Champion.

Two tag team break-ups? Well, we definitely know that things aren’t going smoothly for SAVAGE BEAUTY as those in attendance on the moon watch them disintegrate before their very eyes. The big mystery is what’s up with Wolf and Proteus. They are still ranked #1 and the championship committee may be giving them a title shot at TIDES OF WAR, but that is yet to be determined.

Splatter did what he said he’d do and defeated Brute in a horribly disturbing match. There was blood everywhere. One for the history books I’d imagine.

We now roll into TIDES OF WAR. This is where ANYONE can have a shot at the Champion.
