Wolf & Proteus d. The Animal Pack by DQ when a brawl erupts outside the ring area. The Ani-Men hold onto their belts.
The GWF CHAMPIONSHIP COMMITTEE had said that the losers of the tag team match would take spots 29 & 30 in the royal rumble. The Ani-Men lost the match so their names were entered into the fray to take place next.

Thantos d. Star Warrior by submission with the MASTERLOCK in one of the greatest matches the GWF has ever seen. This was a back and forth battle between to incredible superstars. At the end though, it was THantos that was declared the winner after he put Star Warrior out with the deadly MASTERLOCK.
WHAT A NIGHT! Who’da thought that a card with only three matches on it would be the card of the year. First you have the controversial ending to the Tag Team match. Once again frustrating Wolf and Proteus, and then you have the controversial ending to the Rumble in which one of the Tag Team Champions won the whole event! The champs weren’t even supposed to be involved. Rest assured that the CHAMPIONSHIP COMMITTEE will be working overtime on a solution to this matter.
Then in the main event you have a classic match between good and evil that actually ended with evil prevailing. Thantos is the new GWF HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION. Who will he face at WASTELANDS? Technically it’s Incredible Badger, but Star Warrior is entitled to his title shot? And what about Greg “The Hammer” Valentine and Executioner who, because of their performances in the rumble, shot up the ratings?
