The fans are packed to the rafters for NIGHT #3 of THE RECKONING! Tonight the focus is squarely on tag teams as we find out who will face MILITARY POWERS at CARD #160!
MATCH #1
FIRE & FURY d. TITAN BLOOD via pinfall when Nosfera hits The Betrayer with a spring heel kick – * – NOSFERA and RETRIBUTION look good out of the gate. Making quick tags to keep the TITANS off balance.
MATCH #2
FIRE & FURY d. DARK FUTURES via pinfall after Nosfera hits Tricks with the DEMON’S BREATH – * – Something odd happened during this match. ORACLE was standing in the middle of the ring with RETRIBUTION when a faint ring of light appeared behind RETRIBUTION. ORACLE froze and began backing away towards his corner. The ring of light began to materialize into the shape of a man. The ref ran to OMEN to tell him to knock it off but OMEN swore it wasn’t his doing. ORACLE shrunk back into the turnbuckle in fear. TRICK tagged himself in and as he entered, the ‘man of light’ became whole and decked ORACLE! Knocking him over the top rope and onto the arena floor! Then, as suddenly as he appeared, the ‘man of light’ began to fade away. The ref turned his attention back to the match and let it continue. TRICKS was busy looking at ORACLE on the floor and turned and got a face full of the DEMON’S BREATH.
After the bell, TRICKS helped ORACLE up and ORACLE ran from ringside, looking all around him as he ran up the ramp. TRICKS was as puzzled as everyone else. The ref continued to accuse OMEN of doing something, but OMEN kept begging off.
After things settled down, we were ready for the next match.
MATCH #3
FRONTLINE DEFENSE d. FIRE & FURY via pinfall after Anivar hits Nosfera with the KNUCKLE TATTOO – ***1/2 – Great match here with ANIVAR and TAURAN getting the win, closing the door on NOSFERA and RETRIBUTION who were doing well for once.
MATCH #4
THE GAMEMASTERS d. FRONTLINE DEFENSE via submission when Thantos (II) locks Tauran in the MASTERLOCK – ***1/2 – THE GAMEMASTER shut down FRONTLINE DEFENSE and advance.
MATCH #5
FREEDOM d. THE GAMEMASTERS via pinball after U.S. Male hits Thantos (II) with the PATRIOT MISSLE – **1/2 – Big win here for FREEDOM who have been on a streak as of late.
MATCH #6
Rush & Turmoil d. FREEDOM via pinball after Turmoil hits U.S. Male with CHAOS IN THE CROWD – SQUASH – RUSH and TURMOIL came to the ring with one goal: Destruction and they proved it in their first match of the night.
MATCH #7
Rush & Turmoil d. ULTIMATE FIGHTERS via pinfall after Rush hits Clinch with THE TEMPEST – * – Again RUSH and TURMOIL dominated. The usually competitive ULTIMATE FIGHTERS looked like rookies in this contest.
MATCH #8
Rush & Turmoil d. MASTER RACE via pinfall after Turmoil gives Thraxx a piledriver on the ramp and drags him back into the ring – ** – RUSH and TURMOIL show absolutely no signs of stopping and are easily the MVPs of the night! They march on now towards the main event!
MAIN EVENT
Rush & Turmoil d. LEADERS OF THE PACK via pinball when Rush hits Panther Warrior with THE TEMPEST – *** – And the GLADIATORS clinch the victory!
RUSH & TURMOIL stand victorious in the ring as THE LEVELER stands tall behind them. The crowd boos them loudly and they don’t seem to care at all as they will now go on to face MILITARY POWERS at CARD #160. How will this effect the relationship between PAGANAX and the GLADIATORS? Time will tell.
As they turned to leave the ring, again thousands of little square pieces of paper with laser etched printing fell from the arena ceiling. The GLADIATORS just marched on out of the arena, but fans scramble to pick them up. Tonight the cards read…
