We are greeted by the familiar faces of ABROZ and DIALECTUS. The both bow towards the camera.
ABROZ: One again we are well met and the year has begun anew.
DIALECTUS: A time for new starts is amongst us, and time for a new Infinity Challenge too.
ABROZ: Last year Dialectus got the better of me it seems.
DIALECTUS: And this year I shall again so, but with the use of teams!
ABROZ: Three teams of four we have each drawn, to compete in this year’s games.
DIALECTUS: And now here, without further ado, here are all their names.

DIALECTUS: Tonight the teams facing each other will be my ALIEN CORPS versus Abroz’s ANIMEN.
ABROZ: And then my DARK CARNIVAL versus Dialectus’ FDF CHALLENGE. Teams will be awarded points based on their performances.
DIALECTUS: And win loss records will be kept as well. But for now it is time to begin!
MATCH #1
Sultana d. Shann-Ra via DQ when Shann-Ra slammed Sultana’s head into the guardrails at ringside despite the ref’s warnings. – * – Sultana picks up a point for DIALECTUS. Not the out of the gate start fans were looking for.
MATCH #2
Symbiosis d. Plethador via pinfall with the Cranium Compactor. – * – Fan favorite Plethador came out strong, but Symbiosis kept on him. Plethador got dehydrated and Symbiosis took control and got the win, picking up 2 points for DIALECTUS.
After this match we cut to a darkened corner of the arena. We see a figure weating a welding mask, silhouetted in front of a HoloVision Screen. The figure watches as Plethador gets to his feet. The figure shakes his head. He looks back down at the table in front of him that is covered with tools and various machine parts and he picks up what looks like a makeshift gun. He studies it for a second and then looks around the room for something. Not finding it, he gets up and leaves the room as we cut back up to the ring.
MATCH #3
LEADERS OF THE PACK d. FIRE & FURY via pinfall when Malkuth hit Retribution with an Andromeda Drop. – * – LEADERS OF THE PACK pick up the first points for ABROZ’S team with a decisive win over NOSFERA and RETRIBUTION. LEADERS OF THE PACK pick up 2 points for ABROZ.
ALIEN CORPS (3) d. ANIMEN OF ANDROMEDA (2) in head to head Infinity Challenge Action! We now move onto DARK CARNIVAL versus FDF RESERVES.

Rotunda d. Phantasy via pinfall with FAT LADY SINGS. – * – ROTUNDA picks up a huge win over the reigning GWF WOMEN’S CHAMPION, much to the delight of GRYT at ringside. GRYT ran into the ring with a bag in his hand. He hops up into the ring and gives ROTUNDA a huge kiss much to the disgust of PHANTASY and the fans at ringside. ROTUNDA picks up 2 points for ABROZ.
While in the ring, GRYT grabs the mic.
GRYT: Rotunda baby, you made me so proud tonight! We are the GWF’s power couple extreme and there ain’t no stopping us. To celebrate your trouncing of that washed up Phantasy, here’s a whole bag of SpaceDogs!
ROTUNDA (grabbing the bag from his hands): Oooooohhhh! With extra mustard?!
GRYT: Well, actually they were out of mustard. Seems someone has swiped their ketchup and mustard dispensers.
ROTUNDA looks sad for a moment, but then shrugs and dives into the bag of food. Devouring the SpaceDogs with disgusting ferocity.
GRYT: GWF, you are hereby put on notice! I am the best wrestler in the GWF today. 2125 Infinity Challenge MVP and soon to be the ONLY two-time MVP! It all starts tonight! Mark my words, I am the greatest! Pound for pound, the greatest!
The crowd boos the duo as GRYT and ROTUNDA kiss again. ROTUNDA’S mouth full of SpaceDogs.

FREEDOM d. DARK FUTURES via DQ when the ref catches Tricks using COULOROPHOBIA on U.S. MALE. – *1/2 – Both teams were gunning for the win here and Tricks and Oracle were willing to do anything to get it. TRICKS resorted to underhanded tactics and it cost them. FREEDOM get 1 point for the win.
MAIN EVENT
Gryt d. Vidtek via submission with the STRONGMAN STRETCH. – *1/2 – Gryt, last year’s Infinity Challenge MVP, picks up a huge win and in quite a decisive manner picking up a big 3 points for his team!
