Live from Frontier Days Arena, Cheyenne, Wyoming!

Fans have come from all across the galaxy to Cheyenne, Wyoming, home of SHAYNE.  There is no ring in the center of the arena, there is only a large corral.  Gunshots echo through the arena as SHAYNE comes thundering in to the corral on his horse.  He does a few circles, firing his pistols.  He reigns his horse to a stop in the center of the corral and grabs a mic tucked into his belt.

SHAYNE:  Howdy!

The CROWD, definitely the majority of which are huge fans of the hometown hero, respond in kind.

SHAYNE:  Welcome to Roundup!

CROWD cheers loudly.

SHAYNE:  Hoo doggies.  I have a heck of a show for you tonight.  This is a historic match!  Never, in the history of THE GALAXY’S FINEST™ has there been a mach like this.  Heck, this is a first in all the wrestling federations across the entire GALAXY!  There ain’t never been a match like this.  This is groundbreaking!  I got close to 40 fellas coming into this corral tonight all vying for a shot at this belt ‘round my waist.  Now, you probably noticed that I ain’t got a ring set up here.  That’s ‘cause this here corral is the ring!  Ya see, it’s just like a regular battle royal, ‘cept yer eliminated when ya get thrown out over the top fence rail of this corral.  The last man standin’ gets an immediate shot at the GALAXIAN CHAMPIONSHIP held by yours truly.

The CROWD cheers loudly.

SHAYNE:  Now, I’m just as jittery as as y’all are to find out whose gonna win this match, so lets get it started!  Bring those bad boys out here and let’s get this roundup rollin’.

The CROWD cheers as the participants of the ROUNDUP match head to the ring!  Every non-injured singles wrestler makes their way to the corral.  Tag teams are out as well and even GUARDIAN heads into the corral!  The CROWD is on their feet.

SHAYNE:  Gentleman, begin the ROUNDUP!

SHAYNE fires his gun at a large cast iron pan hung in one end of the arena which makes a makeshift bell sound and the brawl begins!

The combatants begin wailing on each other in the center of the corral!  The first elimination doesn’t happen until several minutes in.

Kill Prey eliminates PSI

The CROWD cheers at the first elimination!  There are four rodeo CLOWNS at ringside, serving as referees.  The CLOWNS circle PSI and make sure he is led out of the arena.  The battle in the ring continues!

Patch eliminates Guardian

EURITAR (II) shocks the CROWD using speed and leverage to toss the much larger wrestler.

The CROWD gives a big cheer as WOLF gets an elimination!

We are down to the FINAL FOUR!  WOLF, NOSFERA, SLY DRURY and FIST all face off in the ring and then tear into each other!

DRURY is furious at ringside as the CLOWNS come to usher him out.  As he walks past SHAYNE, the champ shrugs and smiles.  It’s down to three!

Fist eliminates Wolf

FIST picks up his fourth elimination tossing WOLF over the rail!!  WOLF tires to climb back in but the CLOWNS restrain him.  Meanwhile, Nosfera attacks FIST from behind and the final two go at it!  It’s back and forth when suddenly…

SHAYNE:  Well, well, now you see….THIS is why I wanted to book me a Roundup and invite everybody.  Get myself some new blood as a challenge!  FIST I’ll be with you in a moment.

The CLOWNS begin wheeling in a wrestling ring into the center of the corral.  THE LEVELER makes his way to ringside to join FIST who is catching a breather before the match.  Once the ring is positioned and secured, FIST hops into it and waits as SHAYNE rides into the corral on his horse, dismounts and ties his horse to the ringpost.  SHAYNE climbs into the ring and offers FIST his hand.  FIST waves him off.  SHAYNE grins and nods to the timekeeper.  The bell sounds!

GALAXIAN CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Fist d. Shayne via DQ when Shay slams Fist with a wagon wheel at ringside – ***1/2 – The fans boo loudly as the bell sounds!  They are extremely unhappy with the end result!  FIST took the fight directly to SHAYNE and came within a second of winning several times.  The action spilled out of the ring into the corral and, in a bout of frustration with how the match was going, SHAYNE grabbed one of the wagon wheels that was used as set dressing and smashed FIST with it!  The ref calls the match.  FIST wins but SHAYNE retains!

The CROWD is very displeased.  SHAYNE smirks and ignores them.  He grabs a mic.

SHAYNE:  You didn’t think I’d lose on my own show did you?  Heh, y’all must be smokin’ dope.  By the way, don’t smoke dope!  This has been a public service announcement from your GALAXIAN CHAMPION.

FIST is standing in the ring seething in anger.  SHAYNE smirks again and throws the MIC over his shoulder.  He hops on his horse and rides out of the corral to the jeers of even fans who were for him at the start of the night.
