Trent Tomorrow d. Corona Bug via DQ when Corona Bug smashed Tomorrow with a chair at ringside. – DUD – This one featured plodding action that had the audience shouting ‘boring.’ Word is Commissioner Langley was not happy.
Grudge Match
Akuma the Ninja d. Thinker with the Oriental Spike. – ★★★★★ – This match more than made up for the previous one as it tore down the house! Both men were bloody by the end, causing Langley to get a little nervous about his television sponsors. After the bell, El Hijo de Lycosa stormed the ring and delivered BLACK WIDOW’S BITE to Thinker twice before Hunter could run him off! Thinker was limping pretty badly as he was helped form the ring. The fans were not happy with the cowardly attack by El Hijo de Lycosa here.
Untouchable d. Comrade Terror via THE BRICK WALL. – ★★ – The newcomer from Russia was soundly and rightfully booed the entire time. He does have some wrestling skill, however, and gave Untouchable a proper challenge. Untouchable is undefeated so far in MHW.
Main Event
Grudge Match
El Hijo de Lycosa d. Hunter via DQ when Hunter used BLACKJACK STRIKE for a third time. – ★★★1/2 – After the bell, Hunter went crazy and repeatedly began striking El Hijo de Lycosa with the blackjack! The fans cheered loudly as he did and as he pushed away officials who were trying to get him to stop! When he was finally reigned in, the fans cheered a El Hijo De Lycosa was taken from the ring on a stretcher.
Attempting to regain some control at the end of the evening, Commissioner Langley announced that next show they would crown the first ever Women’s World Champion!
